Our mission: We set to research of physical properties and magnetization processes in metallic and non-metallic soft magnetic materials with emphasis on experiments and model description of the studied effects, to the low temperature physics, to the magnetic properties of high-temperature superconductors and their application and to a non-destructive magnetic testing. The main experimental centre of the department is The Joint Laboratory for Magnetic Studies and the Joint Laboratory of Low Temperatures.
